Independent practices have enough to manage without their software getting in the way. Every month, we ship updates designed to help clinicians spend less time on administrative work, deliver better patient experiences, and operate more efficiently as they grow.

Here's what launched this month.

Better pediatric care with built-in CDC BMI growth charts

Tracking pediatric growth shouldn't require switching between systems or manually calculating percentiles.

Hint now includes CDC BMI growth charts for patients ages 2–20, complete with percentile tracking and longitudinal visualizations. Providers can quickly identify growth trends during well-child visits and make more informed clinical decisions—all from within the patient chart.

Whether you're caring for infants, children, or adolescents, pediatric growth tracking is now faster, more intuitive, and fully integrated into your workflow.

Simplify employer and membership pricing with package-level coverage rules

Practices offering employer-sponsored care or membership plans often bundle services into packages. Until now, those packages required separate pricing logic.

With our latest update, you can apply coverage plan pricing directly to packages, allowing package pricing to automatically follow the rules of a patient's coverage plan.

For example, if an employer plan includes 15% off a postpartum care package, that discount is applied automatically—reducing manual work for staff while ensuring consistent billing.

Make patient communication more personal—with less effort

Every patient message should feel relevant without requiring extra manual work.

A new Next Appointment template field automatically inserts a patient's next confirmed appointment into SMS messages, chat conversations, and internal documentation.

Send reminders, follow up after a visit, document outreach, and more while referencing upcoming appointments without leaving the task you're working on.

Small workflow improvements that save time every day

Sometimes the biggest productivity gains come from removing everyday friction.

This month's usability improvements include:

  • Type dates directly into date pickers across Task Management, Calendar, and Note Interactions—no more clicking through months to find the right date.
  • Onboard clinicians before credentialing is complete. Practices can now invite providers before every credential has been collected, allowing clinicians to securely enter their own licensing information on first login. That means teams can get new hires into the system sooner while completing credentialing in parallel.

These updates are the direct result of customer feedback, including suggestions from participants in our Task Management beta.

More transparency into what's coming next

We believe product development works best when customers can see where we're headed.

That's why we've launched the Hint Product Roadmap, where customers can explore recently released features, join active beta programs, and preview upcoming investments.

As always, every improvement is driven by conversations with the independent practices we serve.

Building software that grows with independent care

Our goal isn't simply to add features—it's to remove friction from the daily work of running a modern practice.

From clinical workflows like pediatric growth tracking to operational improvements in billing, scheduling, and onboarding, every release is designed to help practices spend more time delivering care and less time managing software.

We're excited to keep building alongside the clinicians and care teams shaping the future of independent healthcare.
