Ask a primary care physician to describe a typical day in the traditional system, and you'll hear a familiar story. Appointments are stacked so tightly there's barely time to look up from the chart, and the conversation a patient really needed gets cut short. And the day doesn't end when the last patient leaves, because charting and insurance paperwork follow clinicians home and fill their evenings.

Patients feel it, too. They wait weeks for an appointment, and months later open a bill full of numbers that rarely make sense. Over time, the relationship that's supposed to sit at the center of primary care gets lost, and many clinicians start wondering whether there's another way to practice.

That's what makes health care feel like a desert for so many; few resources, the same scene day after day, and no end in sight. Direct Primary Care is the oasis growing in spite of it. That idea is at the heart of this year's Hint Summit theme, The Oasis Effect: Where Direct Care Thrives, and it's the spirit we're bringing to Scottsdale Stadium in Scottsdale, Arizona, when Hint Summit returns April 7–10, 2027.

Stay at our host hotel, Hotel Solaya

We've secured a discounted block of rooms at Hotel Solaya, our official host hotel and the setting for Wednesday evening's welcome reception. It's within walking distance of Scottsdale Stadium, so getting to and from the conference each day is easy.

We recommend arriving in Scottsdale Wednesday and leaving Saturday so you don't miss any Summit events. Room block rates are also valid up to four days before and two days after the conference if you'd like to extend your trip, or bring the family to make a Spring Break of it. Space in the block is limited, so book early.

Stay an extra day for Growth Bootcamp

Growth Bootcamp returns on Saturday, April 10, as a dedicated add-on half-day session for Direct Care practices ready to scale. It's included at no additional charge with Clinician and Clinical Leader tickets. This year, it will be held at Scottsdale Stadium—no windowless ballrooms in sight.

Earn CME credits as you learn

CME credits are back at Hint Summit. MDs, DOs, NPs, and PAs are eligible for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™, earned throughout the event. You no longer have to choose between growing your practice and meeting your professional requirements.

Celebrate the Innovation Awards

The Innovation Awards return to recognize the organizations and individuals driving meaningful progress in Direct Care. Honorees are improving access, affordability, and outcomes across the Direct Care ecosystem. Winners will be announced live in Scottsdale.

Apply for DEI and Resident Scholarships

Hint Health offers two scholarships to reduce barriers to attendance and bring more voices into the Direct Care community. The DEI Scholarship supports DPC and family practice providers from underrepresented backgrounds and covers Summit registration, hotel, and airfare. The Resident Scholarship covers conference registration for current residents and medical students interested in patient-centered, sustainable care.

We'll kick things off Wednesday evening at Hotel Solaya. On Thursday, we'll gather under the lights at Scottsdale Stadium for networking and snacks. Then we'll close out the week Friday night at our closing party, location to be announced. All three are always highly-anticipated and well-enjoyed events that you will want to be a part of.
