Demonstrating Impact is our theme for Hint Summit 2019. That leaves a lot of room for interpretation, so we wanted to take a few minutes to discuss what the theme means to us, and how we'll embody it at Summit.
What do we mean by Demonstrating?
We'll lean on the dictionary for this one:
1. give a practical exhibition and explanation of (how a machine, skill, or craft works or is performed).
- You should expect practical explanations of how to expand direct care access, improve your practice, and strengthen the direct care community.
2. clearly show the existence or truth of (something) by giving proof or evidence.
- Through sessions and discussions, we'll show the existence of real value and opportunity for patients, practitioners, and society as a whole when direct care models are more widely adopted.
What do we mean by Impact?
We mean the ability to create or catalyze change. Whether it's in healthcare outcomes, primary care doctor quality of life, or decreasing healthcare costs.
Putting it Together
Demonstrating Impact means sharing practical, proven methods that have had a positive impact on the direct care ecosystem. We'll demonstrate what's possible and explain how our community can continue growing our impact on healthcare.
