Operations teams and practice owners take note — this month’s enhancements to our membership and billing platform were built to reduce friction and help you stay in control of the back office.

Clearer EMR Insights with Enhanced Elation Tags

For practices connected to Elation’s EHR, we’ve improved how employer and network eligibility is tagged and surfaced:

  • Employer Tag: now displays the company name only, making reporting cleaner.
  • Network Tag: separates network affiliations from employer data so you can better segment and analyze.
  • Eligibility Tag: syncs eligibility details directly to Elation — so you're able to distinguish active, inactive, and eligible-but-not-enrolled patients with ease.

These updates give you deeper visibility into employer/network membership flows, making your membership analytics and reporting more transparent.

Prevent Checkout Errors with Inventory Controls

A practical win for your front desk and e-commerce workflows: out-of-stock items are now blocked from patient online checkout. That means fewer “Oops, we don’t have that anymore” moments, less manual correction later, and a smoother patient experience from start to payment.

 

Clinical Updates: Work Smarter, Document Faster

For clinicians and care teams, our focus this month was on efficiency, accuracy and speed in our direct care EMR — especially for patient charting, diagnosis entry, and capturing contextual detail.

 

Document Once, Use Everywhere

Record a visit and choose which items - such as conditions, allergies or medications - to sync across the patient’s chart. You can:

  • Add new conditions directly from the visit note.
  • Update existing Health Summary items in real time.
  • Assign tasks while documenting, so nothing falls through the cracks.

This reduces double-entry, ensures consistency, and keeps patient records accurate and connected.

Code with Confidence Using the ‘26 ICD-10 Library

We’ve updated and expanded our diagnosis code library to align with the official 2025-2026 ICD-10 release. That means fewer missing codes, more accurate diagnosis entry, and smoother documentation workflows for clinicians.

 

Quickly Access Complete Patient Addresses

Full address details — including apartment or suite numbers — now appear in the patient quick-view. This ensures contact info, billing addresses and member records are more precise, reducing the risk of mis-billing, mis-communication or lost mailings.

Find Diagnoses and Medications Faster

We upgraded our multi-word search functionality. Now when you’re entering or reviewing conditions or medications in the Health Summary, the most relevant matches surface quickly — so you spend less time searching and more time focusing on care.

 

Capture Critical Context Directly in Vitals

Attach notes and supporting documents (e.g., EKG printouts or body composition reports) to vitals, plus log contextual data such as patient position or arm used. This helps keep your records not just accurate, but clinically rich and meaningful.

Review Complex Health Summaries Faster

For patients with extensive histories, you’ll find the Health Summary list now supports alphabetical sorting for conditions, medications or allergies — enabling you to retrieve and review details during visits or follow-ups with ease.

 

Read Copilot Chat Responses More Clearly

When you use our embedded AI-powered “Copilot” chat, you’ll now see formatted responses with headings, bullet points and bolding — making insights easier to scan and apply, without wading through raw markdown text.
